PARAGRAPH WRITING

Paragraph হলো কোনো বিশেষ বিষয়ে উদ্দেশ্যের ঐক্য যুক্ত কতগুলি বাক্যের সমষ্টি।
।। Paragraph লেখার নিয়ম ।।
Paragraph বা অনুচ্ছেদ রচনা হলো একটি নির্দিষ্ট বিষয়ে একটি মাত্র ভাব অবলম্বনে কত গুলি বাক্য রচনা। সেজন্য Paragraph লেখার জন্য কত গুলি নিয়ম মেনে চলা দরকার।
1. Topic Sentence বা বিস্ময়সূচক বাক্য : যে বিষয়ের Paragraph, প্রথম sentence - এ সে বিষয়ের ইঙ্গিত থাকবে।
2. Order বা শৃঙ্খলারক্ষা : যে বিষয়ের Paragraph, সে বিষয়ে কয়েকটি point ভেবে নিতে হবে এবং সেই point গুলি এমন ভাবে সাজিয়ে sentence - গুলি লিখতে হবে যাতে সেগুলির মধ্যে পরস্পর সম্মন্ধ থাকে, কোনো অনসংগতি না থাকে।
3. Unity of purpose বা উদ্দেশ্যের ঐক্য: প্রত্যেকে paragraph - এ একটি মাত্র বিষয় আলোচিত হতে পারে।
4. Concluding sentence বা উপসংহার বাক্য :
উপসংহারে যে বাক্যটি লেখা হবে , তা যেন পূর্বের কথা গুলির স্বাভাবিক পরিণতি হয়।
5. Paragraph - এর দৈর্ঘ্য : এ সম্মন্ধে কোনো ধরা বাঁধা নিয়ম নেই । তবে প্রথম শিক্ষার্থীর পক্ষে Paragraph খুব বড় না হওয়াই উচিত।
এবার কিছু Paragraph - এর নমুনা দেখে নেওয়া যাক :
1. The Dog
The dog is a quadruped (fourfooted) animal. There are domestic dogs and wild dogs too. The dog is found all over the world. It is fond of fish and meat. It is a intelligent animal. It guards our house. It can be trained to do many kinds of work. It is very faithful to its master.
Word Notes:
Domestic - গৃহপালিত । wild - বন্য। fond of - ভালোবাসে। intelligent - বুদ্ধিমান। guard- পাহারা দেওয়া। kinds - প্রকার। faithful - বিশ্বস্ত।
