1. Definition:

Articles are words that define a noun as specific or unspecific.


2. Types of Articles:

Definite Article:

The (used to refer to a specific noun)

Example: The book on the table is mine.


Indefinite Articles:

A, An (used for nonspecific nouns)

A before words starting with a consonant sound (e.g., a cat)

An before words starting with a vowel sound (e.g., an apple)


3. Usage Tips:

Prepositions:

1. Definition:

Prepositions show the relationship between a noun/pronoun and other words in a sentence (usually direction, place, time).


2. Common Prepositions:


Place: in, on, at, under, over, between, behind

Time: at, on, in, before, after

Direction/Movement: to, into, onto, from, out of


3. Examples:
